Dr. Wafaa M. Rashed

Dr. Rashed is working as a lecturer -Faculty of pharmacy-Ahram Canadian University. Dr. Rashed is the founder of both MicroRNA Childhood Cancer Catalog (M3Cs) and Pan-African PGS Education and Research Initiative (PAPERI). Dr. Rashed was the Clinical trials Section Head at Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt 57357 (CCHE-57357) since 2012 till 2022. Dr. Rashed was graduated from Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University-2003 Alumni. She obtained master & PhD degrees in Biochemistry and she is Board certified clinical nutrition specialist. She worked as an oncology clinical pharmacist at National Cancer Institute-Cairo University 2003 to 2007 then moved to CCHE-57357 as a member of the pharmacy starting team. Dr. Rashed started research track in oncology in 2008 and participated in many grants and has many publications in peer-reviewed journals (Scopus ID=56092727000) and a book participation. Also, she is grant reviewer and a Journal reviewer in many peer-reviewed journals and international funding agencies.
Dr. Rashed was the IRB coordinator at CCHE for 2 years. Also, she has a teaching track. She is senior teaching assistant in the PPCR course affiliated to Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. In addition, she was a part-time assistant lecturer in the biomedical research department at the Armed Forces College of Medicine-Egypt. Dr. Rashed was an instructor in the fellowship program between CCHE and Boston Children’s hospital USA.
