David Ochieng serves as the Finance Manager at the Africa Bioethics Network, where he oversees financial planning, budgeting, and resource management. With over a decade of experience spanning finance, logistics, sales, and customer service, David brings a dynamic approach to resource management and operational efficiency.
Beyond his expertise in finance, David has a strong background in strategic marketing, public relations, and project management, developed through diverse roles that honed his leadership and problem-solving skills. In his role at ABN, David is committed to fostering ethical practices and efficient resource use, supporting the organization’s mission to advance bioethics education and research across Africa.
David is a lifelong learner with professional specializations in Digital Marketing and Business English Communication, completed at the University of Illinois and the University of Washington, respectively. His dedication to excellence is further demonstrated by his selection as part of the 2025 cohort of the American Center's Public Management and Leadership Program at American Center Kampala. This 6-month hybrid program is designed to equip active public managers with enhanced public service, management, and leadership skills.
